How We Can Help You

See the Difference

We want to assist you in reclaiming your function and mobility, helping you return to your preferred lifestyle and to the things that are most important to you!

Rehab Services

Education

We place the highest value on education as it is always the first step in your road to recovery. Understanding why our body may not be functioning properly is a crucial and important aspect of being able to implement the change required to get us moving better! We want to help you understand your body to maximize the effect of your rehabilitation.

Manual Therapy

Manual therapy involves hands on treatment from the practitioner. Weather it is mobilizing a joint, releasing tense guarded tissues, nerve mobilization, or tactile hands on feedback to assist with motor patterning; manual therapy is often used to enhance the effect of your exercise therapy.

Exercise Therapy

Our bodies were built to move. Sometimes when we have an injury or dysfunction, our movement and our ability to sustain loads can be impaired. Exercise therapy helps to restore movement, strength and function through specific progressive exercises that target the tissues or structures that are irritated or not quite functioning properly.

Concussion Management

A concussion is a mild traumatic brain injury caused by a blow or force to the head or body that disrupts normal brain function. Symptoms can include headaches, dizziness, difficulty concentrating, fatigue, and sensitivity to light or noise, and poor activity tolerance.

A comprehensive evaluation to assess and manage concussion type symptoms is key to recovery. Receive evidence-based education and personalized recovery plan with return to activity guidance. Ideal for athletes, individuals recovering from head injuries, or those experiencing concussion-related symptoms.

Functional Dry Needling

Dry needling is a skilled technique performed by a specially trained physiotherapist using filiform needles to specifically target dysfunctional tissues in the management of neuromusculoskeletal conditions, pain, movement impairments and disability. When paired with active rehabilitation exercises, Functional Dry Needling can often aid in normalizing the function of these tissues to get you moving better.

Shockwave Therapy

When appropriate, and paired with a proper rehabilitation plan, shockwave therapy can accelerate the healing process in the body by stimulating the metabolism and enhancing blood circulation to regenerate damaged tissue. Shockwave technology delivers strong energy pulses that are applied to the affected area for short periods of time.  It produces an acoustic pressure wave that is transmitted to the body’s tissue. This stimulates cells in the body that are responsible for bone and connective tissue healing.
